MEDI M.D. was founded in 2005 by active members of the medical and insurance communities. Dr. Paula Stowell, one of the only Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioners for both Family Practice AND Mental/Behavioral Health, together with business partners Kristin Bullock and William McClure founded the company with the vision of creating a medical practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. The nurses and office staff at MEDI M.D. are highly-trained and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many, visiting a healthcare professional can be a stressful experience. Paula Stowell N.D., A.R.N.P, F.N.P Paula Stowell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Georgia State University in 1974. She successfully completed her bachelors and masters of nursing program at the University of Florida and subsequently her family medicine residency at Florida Atlantic University in 1997. Dr. Stowell is board certified by the National Medical Certification Board for both Family Medicine and Behavioral Health. Paula is a proud member of the National Association of Family Practitioners as well as the National Association of Psychiatry, and has received honors for her work with treating patients struggling health and behavioral issues. Paula enjoys relaxing at the beach in her spare time. |
